Our camping program needs many great people to be successful. Consider volunteering in one of the following areas:

• Nurses: help at any camp you choose. Spend a free week at camp! Help campers with medications and assist with first aid.

• Bus Chaperones: We need adult bus chaperones for the round trip busses to Storm Mountain. You ride the bus to Storm and then stay free for the week!

• Volunteer Counselors: You must be willing to enjoy a wonderful week with the youth of the Dakotas Conference!!! You will eat and sleep with the campers, share your faith and have a great time. Counselors receive a full scholarship for the camp.

• Counselors in Training (CIT's): This is a junior counseling volunteer position. You will help the staff with any and all parts of the camp. You may help counsel at any of the Elementary and Jr. High camps. You must be at least 16 years of age; have completed 9th grade, and be at least 3 years older then the campers; have a recommendation from you pastor; and have the approval of the camp dean to be a CIT. You will receive a 1/2 cast scholarship for the camp.

Opportunity for Summer Ministry

The summer ministry of the Dakotas Camps is looking for individuals to join the ministry teams at Wesley Acres, Lake Poinsett, and Storm Mountain. Opportunities include working with a variety of children, youth and adults through outdoor ministries and the ministry of hospitality. This is an excellent opportunity for college age persons and older to spend the summer not only earning money but being part of a ministry that can and has changed lives.
